At NUANS Report Canada, we strive to provide fast, accurate, and reliable NUANS report delivery. We understand that problems can occur, and we are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
Because NUANS reports are digital documents generated and delivered immediately or within hours of order placement, our refund policy reflects the nature of this digital service. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
2. When You ARE Eligible for a Refund
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

- Your report was NOT generated or delivered within 24 hours of ordering (Standard plan: 24 hrs; Express: 4 hrs; Instant: 2 hrs)
- We delivered a report for the wrong name due to our own processing error
- We delivered a report for the wrong jurisdiction due to our own processing error
- Duplicate payment was charged for the same order
- Your order was placed but the NUANS system was unavailable and we could not fulfil it
- A technical error on our payment system resulted in you being charged without a completed order
❌ Not Eligible for Refund
- You provided incorrect name, jurisdiction, or email at checkout (customer error)
- Your corporate name was rejected by the provincial or federal registry
- You changed your mind after the report was delivered
- You ordered the wrong jurisdiction (e.g., Ontario instead of Alberta)
- The report was delivered but not checked before the 90-day validity expired
- You found a competing service at a lower price after ordering
- Dissatisfaction with NUANS report content (content is determined by the government database)
3. Partial Refunds & Credits
In certain circumstances where a full refund is not warranted but an error or issue occurred, we may at our sole discretion offer:
- A free re-run of your NUANS report with corrected details (e.g., if you made a typo in the name and contact us immediately before delivery)
- A store credit toward a future NUANS report order
- A partial refund reflecting any portion of the service that was not delivered
These remedies are offered at our discretion and are not guaranteed. The best way to qualify for a remedy is to contact us immediately after placing your order if you notice an error.
4. How to Request a Refund

- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Name or Jurisdiction Errors — Act Immediately
If you notice an error in the name or jurisdiction you submitted immediately after placing your order (before the report is generated), please contact us right away:

If we have not yet generated your report, we may be able to correct the error at no additional charge. Once a report has been generated, corrections are not possible — a new order would be required.
6. Non-Delivery Issues
If you do not receive your NUANS report within the expected timeframe for your chosen plan:
- Check your spam / junk mail folder — automated emails often land there
- Verify the email address you used at checkout
- Wait the full delivery window: Standard (3 hrs), Express (1 hr), Instant (30 min)

We will investigate and either resend your report or issue a full refund if we cannot deliver within a reasonable additional timeframe.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly, and most issues can be resolved without a chargeback.
If a chargeback is filed after a NUANS report was successfully delivered, we reserve the right to provide evidence of delivery to your bank and contest the chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
8. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws (such as Ontario's Consumer Protection Act), those laws may provide you with additional rights that override certain provisions of this policy. Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to waive or limit rights you are entitled to under applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.
